Erin’s Personal Background

  • Portlander to the core, I was born and raised in Portland. I graduated from University of Oregon (yes I am a proud Duck!) with a degree in Communication and Economics. My studies created an ongoing passion and enthusiasm for continually learning effective business communication skills.

  • Dedicated animal activist and rescue volunteer. I am a volunteer, supporter and previous board member for Animal Rescue and Care Fund since 1999. I have spearheaded many rescue efforts locally and one horse rescue in Wheeler Oregon in 2013. I volunteered for Best Friends Animal Society after Hurricane Katrina and spent 2 weeks in New Orleans caring for survivors. I transported 3 cats and 1 dog home with me caring for them until their forever home was found. I have fostered dozens of cats and dogs thru the years. I currently share my home with 3 rescue cats and 1 rescue dog I adopted.

  • I grew up riding and showing Quarter Horses. I competed in the Jr World Quarter Horse Show and other International horse shows. The disciple and training I received as a youth has served me well as an adult. Other than Real Estate, my love of animals is the other great passion in my life. Finding the perfect home for not only my clients, but also displaced animals is my truest calling.

  • When not doing real estate or rescue work you can find me out in the middle of nowhere hiking with my dog Poppy and maybe a friend or two. I escape into nature as often as possible. Hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, or white water rafting. I LOVE being in nature and use it to decompress and rejuvenate frequently. My friends and family are also my biggest gift. I am the youngest of 8 children, 7 of whom still live in Portland. We are loud, rowdy and fun. My friendships are also extremely important to the quality of my life. Even when busy we always find time to catch up, laugh and celebrate our good fortune.
